Listers, a friend is selling the family Stag. It's a beautiful car, as you may
attest if you've attended car shows here in the Midwest. Location is Kansas
City Metro area. I have no financial interest - just trying to help a friend -
as well as to find a fine car a new home.

Here's the car info- contact address at the end.

1973 Triumph Stag Mark II, 92,000 miles, no-rust, no accidents, $9000
Carmine Red (re-sprayed 1993), tan interior, hardtop (not re-sprayed), replaced
convertible top with factory equivalent.
Original factory V-8 with automatic transmission.
Power windows, air-conditioning (non-functioning needs conversion to R-134)
Power steering rack rebuilt.
Engine reconditioned w/ new standard size main & big-end bearings, new timing
chains, oil pump rebuilt, water pump & alternator rebuilt, new hoses,
carburetors rebuilt.
Stainless steel exhaust system.
Yokohama tires 1997,
alloy lug nuts replaced with steel nuts

Car has won many awards at local car meets.

Engine runs cool with good oil pressure ~ 25 lbs at idle, several long
distance trips - including to Texas & Chicago.

Known items:

1) There is a vacuum leak in the cabin heat controller (to conpensate for this
you turn heat on or off by reversing vacuum hoses in the engine compartment).

2) There is an electrical short that causes the battery to be drained if the
car is left for extended periods (1 wks plus). The battery has had a power
disconnect switch installed which when set to "off" eliminates this problem.
