Folks,
I purchased an aluminum finned oil sump
pan for my TR250. I noticed when bolting
this pan to my engine (engine is out of the
car for the moment) that the oil pump
pickup is quite far from the bottom of the
pan. I'm afraid that I'll be sucking air unless
I can get the pickup closer, within 1/2 in,
from the bottom of the pan. Does anyone
know of an oil pump pick up extension or
an after market oil pump that might help
in solving this problem. In the morning I
plan to call Racetorations, which is where
I bought the pan, but thought I'd ask the
list in the meantime.
