Lately I have been receiving at least one of these a
day, sometimes 2 or 3, always a variation on the same
theme. I suspect that my email address was harvested
off a web page and added to a list that these yahoos
are passing around among themselves. I imagine that
most of the accounts get pulled down pretty quickly but
they are probably hoping that some sucker will respond
before the ISP kills the account. I tried to reply to
one a while back and the message bounced because the
mailbox was full. Apparently somebody out there is
retaliating by bombing the email account which shuts
them down quicker than mailing the ISP. If I had been
saving all of them instead of hitting Delete, I would
have several dozen of them by now.
