Regarding hood buldges - only early TR4s had short bulge - believe the long
bulge was incorporated to help keep the hood rigid (the plunger catch is in
that area and folks were kinking their hoods I hear..
The wood dash was at first an option for TR4s and was installed on the white
metal dash - later it became stock on TR4As but still attached to same dash -
TR250 and TR6 dashes very similar set up (but different switch holes ie;
emergency flasher between large gauges and rheostat in place of ashtray and
air vents that are round vs square).
When it gets down to it the hardest part to find is a good TR4 plastic black
grill for the driver side face vent -gets more sun with one-sided tonneau use!
TR4 metal dashes are seen on eBay for $10 -30 from time to time..
