RE: 1st Car

My first was a 1969 Austin Mini 1000 Mk2, which was delivered to my parents
house in 1979 on a trailer. It was a wreck - my dad thought I would never
complete the resoration - but after 10 months in a lock up garage it was
finished, just before I passed my driving test. I learnt a lot in the
process - which came in handy when I got the TR6 twenty years later.
