update - high voltage out of alternator & oil leak

update.  per charlie browns excellent alternator and repair paper on
www.vtr.org i have a bad rectifier.
on the oil filter leak, the consensus is there is probably a piece of old
gasket up there, plus tip to put new gasket up there with some grease to
hold it and assist in seating.
