I've been wondering about a similar issue for a while now.
I could swear that at one time one of our vintage racers (was it Irv?)
made a comment that he had a GT6 flywheel and clutch on his TR4 racecar.
At the time, I didn't think too much about it, other than "that's neat."
During the past few months though, I happen to have come in possesion of a GT6
engine.
So now my questions are:
What are the differences between GT6 and TR6 flywheels?
What had to be done to put a GT6 flywheel on a TR4 engine?
I can tell you this .. that GT6 flywheel is TINY compared to the hunk of metal
that is a stock TR4 flywheel.

I have a few questions regarding the rebuild/upgrade that I am just
starting. It seems to me that it should be possible to fit a TR6
flywheel on a TR4 crank since the TR4A uses the same pressure plate
and the same disk as the TR6. That is if the bolt pattern on the
crank and the ring gear diameter are the same of course...Do you
know?
