The car definitely has a vacuum advance and is a '71 according to the door
plate.<
Roger, I know little about GT6's but I can tell you that the 71 TR6 did
come with the vacuum advance style distributor but the advance was not
connected. In fact there is no port on the carb for the vacuum source. It
is somewhat likely that the GT6 is configured the same way.
By fitting different carbs with the vacuum advance port, one could easily
reconnect it.
