Outlook filters work quite well and I have actually taken things a bit
further.  I use a mail processing rule to place TR list emails in one folder
and BMW car list emails in another.  I then use Organize by Color/Automatic
Formatting to highlight emails of specific interest to me in different
colors.  i.e. messages with TR4 content show up in blue.  The BMW lists that
I follow are very good at using subject line tags and it allows for more
accurate filters, but they work pretty well on this list as is.

I have also used Outlook rules to implement a simple but surprisingly
effective spam filter.  About for or five rules and all suspected spam get
dumped into its own folder.  All this can be yours for the amazingly low
price of ... just asking.

I assume that most folks will consider this OT, so if you are interested let
me know off list.  Or I can post a summary to the digest if there is enough
interest.
