It's gotta be either the mixture or the timing or both, right? :-) I
*assume* the fuel pump is keeping up, but how can you tell from behind
the wheel?
I tried retarding the spark a couple of clicks, and that made launches
quicker but maybe the hesitation at mid-RPMs a little worse. At speed,
I choked it a bit and that also made it worse, I think. So I'm guessing
I need more advance and less richness.
Any other ideas much appreciated!
Oh, it's a '73 GT6 and I just drove it "for real" this morning, after 2
years on jackstands. Whaddaya know, it passed inspection first time!
Just shows what bribing a blind man can get ya....
