Great Top Ten List, Jim!
For my shoplight, I replaced the incandescent bulb with one of those compact
energy saver florescent types. It's not quite as bright, takes a few seconds
to be at full intensity, but no more burns, either on arms, interior, etc.
Overall, I'm very pleased with how it works.
