Thanks to all who offered suggestions and experiences to assist with my
brakes that would drag then nearly lock up then cool down and leave me
with the soft pedal.
The culprit appears to have been the TR4 restrictor valve -- the inline
check valve designed to keep slight pressure in the line. A little of
that goes a long way. I removed the guts of the restrictor (as
mentioned by Randall) and the problem seems resolved... time will tell
if this also reduces the amount of brake dust, If the dust persists I
will change to one of the recommended pads.
