On the sheet rec'd with my re-ground cam, the stated intake & exhaust valve
lift is .430" . Placing a dial indicator with a mag base on the head with
the indicator point square to the top of the valve spring collar yielded a
different results. The #1 & #4 exhaust valves measured .390" & the #1 & #4
intake valves measured .413" & .400" respectively. Howz comin'? I wouldn't
be concerned as much, I suppose, if the latter were at least consistent from
cylinder to cylinder. Push rods are standard, what came with the engine as
are the rocker arms. I'm beginning to wonder if the nose radius on the end
of the rocker arms is compromised....Any opinions out there?
