Fred,
I found a web site that can help you with your problem of finding the right
camera http://www.digitalcameras.com. Also, you may want to consider..."What
are you going to use it for?" If it is to take pictures of your car...then
you can get an elcheapo camera. Images on the web are usually no larger the
72dpi. The main difference I found with digital cameras is that you have to
be EXTREMELY patient if you are taking HIGH RESOLUTION pictures. High
resolution require memory therefore require time to load into memory. I
seldomly use the high resolution unless I want detail. The higher the
resolution, the more you can zoom into the picture. You cannot zoom in to
close when your picture is only 72dpi but at 1200dpi...you can clearly see a
zit on a persons nose.
You can also go to Kodak's website. They have a camera and photoprinter kit.

Also, go to Best Buy or Circuit City. Those store let you try before you
buy. In store of course.
Good luck,
Patrick

Subject: camera NON LBC
I'm looking to purchase a digital camera and would like some advice as to
which to get, I only use it at shows and will be getting a scanner for the
P/C, so I do not think I am in need of a high end, but I would like
something
above the $1.49 price range, remember I have the expense of maintaing a LBC.
Thanks for your help "FT"
