Hi All
Thought I would share my problem with my 74 Spitfire and a weber DGV.

While I am repairing it after its wreck, I run the cars motor on the
weekend a little bit. All of a sudden , it runs bad after running perfectly.
It starts up with the auto choke on and as it warms up it runs worse and
worse. It acts like it is starving for gas. If I manually close the choke
plates , it runs good again. Fuel pump is putting out enough. So I tinker
with the Idle screw etc. No effect. I saw a screw to the right of the choke
(looks like a cap screw) . << picture of it :
http://spitfires.iwarp.com/weber.jpg >> I turned it to the left and the motor
almost quit. I turned it to the right and it tightened up and the motor RUN
PERFECT.

Can anyone tell me what that screw or cap is for?

Thnx Pat
