Congratulations!!!!!  Them SU's are a pain when it comes to choking them.  
More like you have to strangle them before they give up and start working. 

 I have a question for you and the rest of the list.  Why does the 
replacement choke cable in my TR3B jam up against the Smiths heater box?  
It's like too long before the cable portion starts. I`m thinking the car is 
pushed back from some previous hill climb damage or something. No kidding it 
did have a smashed frame end, drivers side that I repaired. I have to bend 
the final portion of the shank to get the cable to fit in there.  Obviously 
this bend does not help in the smooth operation of the choke cable.  I could 
swear that the original cable that I threw in the woods years ago was shorter 
but it is long gone.  Where there two different cables?  Shorter one for 
heater equipped TR3's?  Very odd problem huh?  Any ideas?
