I would like to add my tuppence worth too.
I agree with the findings of Dave Rogers that black wrinkle finish on the
body of the wiper motor is correct. However, in my dim and dark memory I
seem to recall that if a Lucas reconditioned unit was ordered from the
factory, dark grey hammerite type finish was the norm.
So does that make it both finishes are correct? I do recall that there is a
VTR concours judge residing on the list. What is his opinion?
