Bob,
Remove speedometer and tachometer. Remove screws attaching facia to metal
dash. You can now pull facia towards you enough to disconnect wires
attached to gauages, warning lamps and switches. Write down which wires
went where. After that your facia should be free.

OK:
So when did Bentley & Haynes get together to write a comedy? I
reviewed both books to reference the removal of the wood dash on my 76
TR6. After reading both manuals. I thought "sounds pretty straight
forward" NOT!
Any one got BTDT tips?
