The only installed pair I've ever seen came on a (near-scrap) Mk3 Spitfire
bonnet given me many years ago. They happen to be side-mounted, as is the
method for Heralds. I have instructions for fitting the locks to the Herald
and would consider scanning them for anyone interested.
