I'm installing a rebuild kit in my TR6 master cylinder.
Question: The secondary piston, the one that goes into the innermost
bore, the one with the smaller diameter, has a rubber ring on it. Is the
rubber ring supposed to seal against the cylinder wall?
Seems like it should, but mine does not. I've tried this ring from two
new rebuild kits and they are both the same. The piston with the ring on
it drops right to the bottom with a "thunk".
