Friends
Just a line or two to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a
'stress free' 2002 with Standards aand Triumphs - and every other LBC
I can think of. Particular thanks to all those of you who have sent me
Christmas cards. I'm sorry not to have reciprocated but maintaining
address books has never been a strong point and is now proving to work
to my disadvantage.
Weather and barn space-heater permitting, I shall be spending the next
week in our familiar territory with examples of the fastest and
slowest vehicles made by the company. 'Daisy' (the Fergie) will be
receiving attention to her constant speed governor and 'Canley Girl'
(PI) will be divested of her brightwork prior to going to paint early
next month. Both are in disgustingly rude health, performing
reasonably well and sharing success in a common department - i.e. the
brakes on both now work as they should.
If nothing else, I can now stop things I've started.
Have a good holiday with your families
