There was a Bosch alternator fitted to 78-80 Ford Fiestas with A/C or
"heavy duty electrical" (in the US at least) that is an exact
replacement for the internally regulated Lucas 15ACR alternator used on
the TR6, but with an output of 60 amps or so. It takes the same plugs
and bolts to the same mounts, except that the sliding adjustment bolt is
metric. Bob Gault posted a part number of D8RZ-10346-AX, but I don't
know how accurate that is. Note that this was an optional fitment to
the Fiesta, the standard alternator was a Motorcraft (Ford) unit that
was completely different.

I believe this unit would bolt-up to the early TR250/5 and saloons, but
since they originally had an externally-regulated alternator (Lucas
15AC), some wiring changes would be required.

In either case, you'll probably need to transfer your old pulley to the
new unit.

There were also larger capacity Lucas units fitted to later Jaguar and
such that might fit, I don't know.
