If any overseas lister is likely to be in the UK on 18th & 19th May
2002 and wants to do something utterly crazy (even tho they're
probably old enough to know better) there are two seats going spare in
my Triumph on an 800 mile charity dash over 24 hours.
This will visit a number of old castle sites in central England,
Wales, the south west and south coast - Warwick, Kenilworth, Ludlow,
Raglan, Chepstow, Dunster, Tintagel, Pendennis, Berry Pomeroy, Corfe,
Portchester and Arundel.
Starts at 11.30am on 18th and finishes about 15.00 the next day near
London. This is an all British makes event and will probably see MG's,
Rover P6's, Moggies, Healeys, some Marinas (including one in British
Gas livery!) and Aston and a few Jaguars. Triumphs, of course! You
won't be getting much sleep (if any) and you'll certainly be expected
to take your turn at the wheel. Never driven on the wrong side of the
road (legally) and at night? This could be your chance!
We'll be raising money to give children with renal failure between the
ages of 8 and 15 a week's vacation at a special centre were they can
dialyse without missing out on the fun of the vacation itself.

MG 4305 DLO 1970 Triumph 2.5PI (definitely participating - with the
clothes peg)
MG 1035 DLO 1969 Triumph 2.5PI (a former ST press car - if acquired,
might be going as well with another part crew)
