Hi Scott,
Though the cranks are different big berring, little berring, you are corect
that the rear seal diameter is the same for all.
I would suggest replacing the small timing sprocket no matter what. The
small one wears way faster as there are so many less teeth doing the same
amount of work.
It is the same on a bicycle. The freewheel (part on the rear tire with many
different sprockets) often needs only the first two or three small sprokets
replaced.
