><snip> I thought I would inquire as to the proper procedures
for putting my baby to bed for the winter. I have an unheated garage with
plenty of space.

Areas of concern, fluids, gas, battery, carbs, tires and should the top be
kept up in the locked position, up in the unlocked position or folded away
and just covered with a tarp???????
<

Just my opinion but this is what I would do:
-Fill the tank
-change the oil
-air up the tires (recommended pressures or a little bit more)
-verify that the antifreeze is up to recommended concentrations (eg. 50/50)
-disconnect battery

Also, I would leave the top up and latched. If you leave it folded you may
have trouble uncreasing the top.
