A couple of week-ends ago an eight month old throttle cable broke on
my car. Frustrating, but I was within walking distance of the TR Shop
in Chiswick; with so few TR outlets around it seemed I was actually
lucky. But,the late model PI cable was the only one they were out of
stock of....ended up coming home on a flatbed.
However, I finally got round to making up & fitting an auxiliary
bonnet release as per this link:
http://www.clark.net/pub/rweeks/hood_release.html
So simple, so effective. No problem to avoid the steering column on a
RHD car either, using the remains of a broken cable release....How
did Triumph miss such a simple solution?
