Well it would seem I made a small faupaux. 10" backing plates do provide
mounting for 9" brakes. So I have scrounged up 9" plates and they are going
to get reconditioned and the journey can continue again. So, thank you to
all who responded and I will have a pair of 10" plates already black epoxied
for sale :-)
