TR3a rear brake help

Hi all,

In putting the rear brakes together I am using the adjustors for the girling
but they don't seem to fit. There are to mount stud and the adjustor pin.
The mount studs appear to be off going through the bolt holes by 3/8". The
backing plates look right according to the catalogs etc. 

Help please
