For those of you with a 73 - 76 TR6, I need a favor.
I had several gauge bulbs that were bad and I recently replaced them. The
bottom fuse in the fuse box protects this wiring. I've noticed, that after
having the lights turned on for about 5 to 10 minutes, the ends of the fuse
are very hot to the touch. I checked the current flow and it reads 5.2 amps
which is normal per Dan Masters' book.
If you have a second, could you please turn on your parking lights for 5 to
10 minutes, pop off your fuse cover and put your finger on either end of the
bottom fuse clip? I'm trying to see if that fuse getting hot is normal, or
do I have a bigger issue. I'm reluctant to drive at night fearing a wiring
melt-down.
Thanks,
Bill
