>I have rebuilt a 72 Tr6 engine. The rebuild included all new oversized
pistons, turned crankshaft and all new main and rod bearings. The head was
also gone over. A reground camshaft and all new lifters. On start up the
oil
pressure was 75 psi. but after warm up I only had 25 psi at 850 RPM. At
1000
RPM the pressure was 45-55 PSI. Is that normal oil pressure on a rebuilt
engine?

Yes, 45 to 55 at 1000 RPM is pretty good. Was the oil pump replaced? What
weight oil are you using? If the oil pump was not replaced and/or if the
oil is 10W40 or thinner then you have a pretty tight engine.
Dave
71 TR6 (with new crank bearings and oil pump and 10W-40 oil and 45-55 PSI
at 1000 RPM warm)
