Hi Noah, If this is a real problem I would guess there is a problem with some return spring or something. Could be springs on the wheels or on the pedal itself. The only other thing may be collapsed brake hose. I had one of those once, only it would release about 3 minutes later. Makes for hot brakes. Just some ideas. The pedal really should return quickly.
