I think I know the answer but will always ask...
I have the transmission off the engine (so is everything else on
the 3 for that matter) and had the OD unit bench tested under true
operating conditions (this was really neat). The only problem
was a slight leak from the rear end seal. Now, is there any
way to remove the nut to get to the seal with the transmission
not attached to the engine (aka: how do you stop the shaft from
turning to get enough torque to remove the nut)? Or do I need to
write a note to myself to take care of this when I install it
back on the engine?
