Hi everyone,
I have reached the end of my patience with the generator in my TR4. I have
decided to convert to an alternator but am not sure which alternator to
use...
I would like an alternator that bolts straight on, or at least with as few
modifications as possible. Having said that, I'd also like to retain the
other two pulleys so the alternator would have to be compatible with the
thick belt, or compatible with the Lucas generator's pulley.
Any ideas? I am in Sydney, Australia so I would be very interested in
hearing about any alternator conversions done by Australian owners as it
would probably mean I could get the same parts more easily.
