Listers - Just cleaned out my differential (out of the car, on the bench),
poked around a bit & nothing seems out of sorts. I'm getting ready to
replace the rear cover & gasket. Got to thinking - should I replace the
pinion oil seal while it's convenient or is it a bear removing it? Can I
check its integrity by filling the differential with the right lube &
positioning it so the seal end is pointing at the ground & rotating the
flange every few days?
