Our local Triumph club had a presentation last year by a firm (not Total
Advance AFAIK) that is making a programmable EFI/TBI system that simply
bolts on in place of 1.75" ZS or SU carbs (as used on TR3-6). As I
recall, the electric fuel pump mounted back by the gas tank, and a
return line was required from the pressure regulator mounted near the
engine. You could, if you wished, use the vent line to the tank
(present on most US-spec TR6s) for the return line (and presumably drill
a hole in the cap for a vent). Or, running a new line should not be all
that difficult. ISTR a baffled fuel tank was described as a nicety, not
a necessity.
Unfortunately I don't have the contact info any more. Perhaps one of my
fellow club members can chime in with it ? ... I know you're out there

Also, for the DIYers, there are several mailing lists somewhat similar
to the Team.Net lists for DIY EFI. They are mostly into port injection
using either a custom ECU or one modified from another car, but many of
the ideas are the same if you want to do TBI instead. See
