Spitfire O/D driveshaft

Hello all,

I know this is really a question for the spitfire list, but I can't be on
both....

What are the dimensions of a driveshaft for an overdrive equipped Mk 2
Spitfire?  I have read it was shorter than the non-O/D one.  I need to either
shorten mine or find one.
