Yes it will. The only difference between the tanks is the vapor vent
connections. I'm not sure about the 73 but the 74 has two taps on top on
opposite ends of the tank whereas the 73 has a single tap in the side of
the filler neck. You may have to improvise your connections or better yet
acquire the fuel separator from the same year as your new tank.
