Just a warning to anyone who has lead filler on their car or is planning
to use it you can't use epoxy primers or paints over lead filler. Our
local club had a rep from one of the paint manufacturers do a talk on
body shop materials and paint last fall and he warned that lead because
it traps some of the acid flux in the filler will off gas for many years
even decades and epoxy paints don't allow the filler to breath and thus
will fail ( bubble ) when used over lead. I would speculate that this
may also apply to brazing as well since flux is used for brazing to but
I'm just guessing. Something to check in to if you are using epoxy
paints.
