Well I couldn't resist today, when the beautiful female driver of a Fiat 124
threw me a wave as she passed... and well I waved back! Have I committed a
horrible sin?
Now I'm left to ponder why a woman of such grace, style and sophistication
has decided to drive something that rusts quicker than a Triumph ;-)
In other news, the "Bad Battery" has been remedied. There was a current
draw, which was finally tracked down to that stupid seat belt lockout switch
found only in 1974 TR6s. Disconnected now. Then it was only a matter of
reversing some DPO's alternator wiring (and also replacing the his hacked
in ignition warning light with the current gauge mount one) and now the TR6
produces current while driving rather than just consuming it! Thanks to all
who helped produce ideas that partially led to this Triumphant victory
against Lucas.
(I think Lucas gets a bad rep because of all the DPOs, I have actually had
very few genuine Lucas-induced problems.)
Cheers!
Comrade KMR
