I sent Rimmers a long and detailed (and quite friendly) e-mail last
night, asking for a couple of further pieces of information, and
permission to scrap a particular item that is useless to both of us. I
leave for my holidays in about 54 hours, so if they don't get back to me
soon, my Vendor Assessment report will appear here, warts and all, and
they can wait until I return before I am able to continue trying to sort
this mess out.
