On my '75 TR6, several of the plastic female snaps on my hood cover (I
think that's what it's called-the thing that hides the convertible top
when stowed) are broken. The Roadster Factory sells plastic and metal
replacements. Which do you recommend and, as an alternative source, are
these commonly available through local automotive stores?.

Fred: Regardless of which ones I buy, will you powdercoat them for me?!

Second question: I believe my car had air conditioning at one time.
There is a recessed/notched area, about 2 x6 inches on the passenger
side firewall near the body ID plates. A friend speculated AC as a
possibility. I've never seen another TR6 with this boxed in area.
Anybody know for sure?

Thanks in advance.
