Ok, I haven't heard this one discussed yet- While I have been working on my
body removal, I noticed two tags on the body which I am wondering about. One
is on the firewall ledge, Driver(US) side, forward of where the regulator
goes, at the edge, and the other is on the rear section, under the Driver(US)
seat area, about two inches back from the leading edge, where it attaches to
the center section. Both have barely readable numbers(corrosion) but what I
can read does not appear to match. Is it possible these are just part number
tags, or could they be serial number tags- I think one has a prefix "TC"
Both tags are about three inches long, by a half an inch wide, and are tack
welded to the body. They appear original.
