Before I'd replace the inner window seal I'd really think about the
quality of the replacement seal you got. My experience is that the
replacement inner seals are crap. I replaced the inner seal on one door and
found the replacement so inferior to the original that I'm going to reinstall
the original. My replacement inner seal came from Moss. It may be that
another source has a better quality seal.
After you replace the outer seal spray silicone on the window and put the
window up and down several times and wipe off the excess-it really helps keep
the glass from grabbing the rubber.
