Michael,

TR4/4A..........Moss UK catalogue states that early TR4 exhaust 
valves have 3/8" stems whereas later 4/4As have 5/16" and tulip-
shaped heads .The external diameter of the guide is also different 
but a conversion guide exists .Springs and collars are also different 
.
TR6....dunno ! Modern cars are not my thing .
