Mike,
My method is to remove the rubber and carefully hack-saw the metal portion of
the bush until it is almost through to the center tie-rod. Once the bush is cut
you can use a punch or chisel to "Break" the bush and the metal portion just
falls out. Be very careful not to cut the bush to far as to cut the tie-rod.
