The other day Michael Ferguson had some questions on removing paint from his
car. I know that Michael lives in Connecticut, so I wrote to ask him if I
could drive over to his place to take some pictures and look in places on his
car that the camera can't. Michael not only wrote back but agreed to drive
over in his TR3A so that I could compare the cars side by side. Considering
that it was in the low 30's Fahrenheit (for our metric lister's
clarification), I expected him to be driving with the hood up. Well,
Michael's an avid ragtop enthusiast, he arrived hood down and grinning ear to
ear. Though he did say that the ride home in 20 degree weather was more than
a little bracing. His visit did help locate some errors that I had in
location of some electrical items. I hope that my rebuilt engine runs have
as well as Michael's.
This note is not written to initiate a mutual admiration thread, but just to
highlight how members of the list go out of their way to help each other.
