All: I'm in the process of replacing the u-joints on my GT6-3, and as the axle flange bolt heads are a little chewed up, I'm replacing them w/grade 8's. Question: is there any reason pro or con to use lock washers on these bolts? (These are the bolts that connect the u-j yoke and diff flanges ...) Question #2: How does one torque a bolt where there is no room for a torque wrench? (My answer to question #2 to date has been: "by feel...") -- Martin Secrest 73 GT6, 72 TR6 Arlington, VA |
