To hop into a conversation I have no business being in, but, having been to
Europe, many times over. I would have to say that the French are incredibly
rude and pompous. That being said, I find the original message distasteful
and inaccurate, less the fact that the writer did not have the gumption to
put his own name on it, yet used an alias email address.

the
spawn of the devil. I spent a week with trapped with a hoard of them in
Eleuthera at Club Med one recent summer. The couldn't speak a word of
English... until they wanted you to pass the wine... The children were
rude
and ill-tempered and their women had the audacity to sunbathe topless on
the
beach! Wait a minute... I was actually okay with that part...

Interesting. Most folks the world over consider American children to be
the most unruly and unrestrained. And no matter where Americans go they
expect the whole world to speak English. Even in England - instead of that
cockney stuff they mumble over there.

Bear in mind that when you go to Club Med you are mixing with a
non-representative group of people. In other owrds they do not represent a
cross section of the population of what ever particular group you think
they represent. I would be inclined to think that Club Med participants
are predisposed to being rather self-indulgent to begin with.

But what do I know, I've never been to Club Med (Nor am I likely to).
