Rick,
The only problem I had is that getting a seal between the adaptor
base and the TR oil filter base can be a problem. The adapter
parts are not CNC quality and I found that I needed to substitute
the large o-ring seal for a thicker one. You know how you get 3
o-rings in a filter box... use the thicker one.
Other than that it was pretty straightforward. The best parts is
you can use higher quality, low micron filters to better protect
your engine

Subject: SPIN-ON OIL FILTER ADAPTOR
Getting ready to put on a spin-on oil adaptor for my 75 TR6. Are
there any
pitfalls/gotchas for what seems to be a pretty straightforward
switch? If
there is anything stupid I might do while making this change and
you already
did it, please let me know. Also, if you've changed to a spin-on
filter,
what filter (make and model) do you use? As always, thanks in
advance to all
who reply.
