A few months back I initiated a thread about surrey tops and I promised to
let several people know if I ever came across another (any spare sebring
inserts--the aluminum part--lying around?). Well, eBay, the great leveling

This is ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT!
The top and glass are in great shape. It is painted a primrose color and
would be easily painted over a different color to compliment your car. Comes
with a three-year old soft top. The frame for the soft-top is not an
original piece. In the picture, the sun really accented the need to clean
it. Did not realize this until I looked at the picture. It will clean up
great! It does have a new window seal in the glass. The original aluminum
spacer piece is in the rubber seal, not a replacement plastic piece like you
have to deal with if you need to order one today. The aluminum top needs
work to be installed. I hate to say it, but I think it was used as a sled
until the father found out and hopefully beat the kid for it. (I really am
kidding about beating the kid, but it makes me sick to think that it might
have been used for that!) The Aluminum top is repairable and useable with a
little metal work by an old craftsman in the trade. The Aluminum top also
has the orig!
inal headline with it but needs replaced. The ribs are there to install
another one.
If you have not dealt with a surrey top before, they mount on your car using
the same holes you mount your soft-top. It gives you a much better ride and
actually can have a conversation. Your significant other will love it! It
also gives you ALL the space in the back deck to store things. If you have
a pair of speakers mounted in the back wall, you will be able to hear them
when the top is down. How about that!!! There is no additional work needed
to install the top.
The reserve is set at a modest amount. I am not letting this go at a steal.
However, it is very fair and if you have looked at the cost of these
outright, you wont find them.
The item will be sold in as is condition and you should contact me if you
do have any questions. Buyer will be responsible for the actual shipping
charge. Payment must be made within ten (10) days after the end of the
auction. There will be a $15 boxing fee to prepare the item for shipment in
addition to actual shipping charge. I can make arrangements to meet the
buyer at three locations: Pittsburgh, PA Columbus, OH Charleston, WV.

arrangements. I will not ship or transport the item without the payment
